“Through network innovation, we are delivering cutting-edge solutions and products powered by AI on the nation’s largest and fastest WiFi network right here in our hometown,” said Dan Bonelli, Comcast Regional Senior Vice President.

Comcast is constantly upgrading and leveraging AI throughout its network as part of the company’s broader strategy to make it smarter and faster. Earlier this year, Comcast began deploying ultra-low lag technology that further enhances the responsiveness of its network to deliver popular applications like streaming and gaming. The company also recently launched, WiFi PowerBoost, which delivers gig speeds at home and on the go for our Xfinity Mobile Customers. In fact, Ookla’s latest Speedtest Intelligence® research shows that Xfinity Mobile’s speeds have increased 150 percent, making Xfinity Mobile the fastest mobile provider in our markets1. These technology advancements were developed and tested first right here in Philadelphia and deployed nationwide.

Residents can visit Xfinity.com or one of four Xfinity Stores in Philadelphia to sign up for Internet or Mobile service. In addition to Xfinity’s full suite of Internet products, eligible residents continue to have access to the company’s Internet Essentials program that provides low-cost, high-speed broadband for lower-income households.
