Tim Nester serves as Chief Financial Officer of Comcast’s Connectivity & Platforms business and oversees its financial management function. Connectivity & Platforms is Comcast’s largest segment encompassing residential broadband, business services, wireless, and video and has over $80 billion in revenue domestically and across Europe.

Tim has been with Comcast for over 20 years, serving in a variety of leadership positions across the company’s financial and operational functions. Prior to his CFO position, Tim was Executive Vice President of Connectivity & Platforms’ Financial Operations and Planning where he supported sales, marketing, digital, data analysis, field operation, customer experience, supply chain and business continuity. Before that he was Executive Vice President of the Technology, Product, and Experience (TPX) division where he was responsible for its financial management and annual capital expenditure plan, integrated logistics and supply chain, customer and network operations, consumer product development, technology and product security, systems engineering, access networks, and video engineering. He also oversaw the financial management of the Comcast Technology Solutions (CTS) organization.  

Before his work in the TPX organization, Tim was the Senior Vice President of Finance/CFO for Comcast Cable’s West Division in Denver, CO, where he was responsible for strategic financial and operational management, financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting, and other related functions.

Tim joined Comcast in 2002 from PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was a Senior Manager in the InfoComm Advisory Services (ICAS) group based in Denver, CO, and managed and executed audit and consulting engagements in the InfoComm industry segment.

Tim received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Kansas. He also earned his Certified Public Accountant and is a Certified Information System Auditor.
